As a food reviewer, I recently had the pleasure of trying out Pelicana Chicken, a Korean restaurant located in Cupertino, CA. The ambiance is casual and perfect for groups looking to enjoy a delicious meal together.

“ it is okay, but I don't understand why they charge the sauces. To chicken is quite juicy, but nothing special ”
“ So many Korean Fried Chicken spots lately. My friend took me took Pelicana...Nice and more modern than the others but is it better than 99 Chicken? Chicken was good but the sauce overwhelmed it. A little lighter and it would have been better. 99 also puts a lot of sauce but it does not overwhelm the chicken. The snail salad was good but did not go with the chicken at all...I thought it would be light but it seems to be a meal more than a side. We had the whole chicken and I liked it but still prefer flats and legs. The service was nice and we got there early so I helped the server set up. She was really sweet and helpful. Ambiance as stated is nice than most with thought put out for a Korean Fried Chicken experience. Overall, I liked it. The only hit was the overwhelming sauce but at least next time, I can say light on the sauce. Still worth going to for sure! ”
“ Cheese Buldak is a must have! Flaming cheese on top of chicken, cabbage and peppers is an incredible combo. Tried the Crispy fried boneless wings with Garlic sauce. Best wings I've ever had with just the right amount of crispiness. Would like to try with Soy sauce in a future visit. Daikon served with the wings paired better with the cheese Buldak spiciness. Has a food chain vibe, decent service. ”
“ Best Korean fried chicken place I know! The crispy chicken is super crunchy even with the sauce. The to go box kept our food super warm. All the flavors here are great. The inside stinks a little like chicken so that could be off putting for some people. Their service here is not super quick but well worth the wait. This place is a must try if you like fried chicken! ”
“ Walked in and quickly seated for a Tuesday 6:30pm dinner with my friend. We ordered their chicken gangjung which was well seasoned, and I loved the fried rice cakes in it. We weren't too hungry so splitting worked out well. Still pretty filling considering we had leftovers. Came with a side of cabbage salad and pickled radishes. Would love to go back again for their other chicken items. Ambiance: spacious seating between tables. Although my only unfavorable note (which I didn't fault them rating wise) is the large electric fly zapper by their soda machine that totally made us jump a little when the 2 flies were zapped. ”
